Kindergarten - Students are learning about and practicing critical & creative thinking skills. This month they've been working on critical thinking skills using analogies and listening skills which require them to think about concrete ideas in unique ways.
1st Grade - Students are learning about visual and spatial reasoning. This week we read Actual Size and created actual size drawings.
2nd Grades - Students are learning about visual and spatial reasoning this week. We're reading Lucy In The City and creating birds-eye view pictures.
3rd Grade - We're studying deductive logic in which students had to find clues, read clues, put clues together, and reflect in order to solve problems using logic elimination grids.
4th Grade - Students are working diligently to create their own tiny homes! They are using mathematical operations such as area and perimeter to create their blueprints. Next they'll create models.
5th Grade - We're working through a digital escape room which requires lots of problem solving and putting clues together. Students are in a race to see who can break out first!

Secondary students receive their weekly GT minutes through accelerated, Pre-AP, Advanced Placement, and Concurrent Credit courses.
