What We're Learning!

Kindergarten - Students are learning about and practicing critical & creative thinking skills. This month they've been working on critical thinking skills using listening skills which require them to think about concrete ideas in unique ways. Students are finding what doesn't belong in groups and completing flexibility prompts using the Play By The Rules! curriculum supplement.

1st Grade -  Students are learning about originality and elaboration. Originality is the ability to come up with an idea no one else would think of. Elaboration is the ability to add lots of details. We're working to add color and backgrounds to all of our pictures to help them tell an interesting story.
